This refers to the process of building skills, confidence and knowledge so that participants can work towards achieving their goals, improve their quality of life and enhance their independence. Capacity building supports in an NDIS plan include a number of programs, but can vary depending on a participant’s needs and goals.
Specialist Support coordination refers to funded supports designed for participants with more complex needs and who require additional support. Specialist support coordinators will then help participants receive the support they need.

Yes! Not only do we provide supported independent living homes, but we also provide other forms of at-home support, including coordinating with other caregivers, organising social activities, and supporting the performance of key daily activities.
If you are not eligible for the NDIS, there are other support schemes you may be able to turn to for funding.
The best way to do this is to speak with your NDIS local area coordinator and ask them to connect you with other support programs available in your area.
You can also apply to The Queensland Community Support Scheme, which is available to people who don’t have access to NDIS funding or who have chronic conditions, including mental health issues, or are in other circumstances that affect their capacity to live independently.
