Maintaining and improving mental wellbeing is crucial, and social and recreational activities serve as a great tool to achieve this. They promote community engagement, offer opportunities to build new connections, and develop new skills and hobbies.
Shine’s group programs are designed to create an environment where individuals can learn new social skills, and establish strong personal relationships. We offer a variety of innovative group activities, including art groups, Saturday morning activities and much more.
Our group programs are accessible through our Shine Hub in Dubbo and on the Sunshine Coast. We warmly welcome everyone to join us and improve their mental wellbeing through our activities and services.

We understand that some individuals may require additional support and we completely support and encourage attendance with individual support workers. So, if you would like to being your support worker to our programs, you are more than welcome to do so.

Our programs are fully funded under the NDIS, whether through CORE or Capacity Building at a ratio of 1:1 or 1:3.
The CORE support covers social and community participation, as well as daily life assistance.

One of our team members will arrange a personal meeting with you to discuss intake procedures and provide a detailed overview of our program structure.

It’s important to keep in mind that our Art Programs operate on a term-based system. We want to make sure you’re aware of this so you can plan accordingly and get the most out of your experience with us.
Shine provides a convenient service of picking up and dropping off right at your doorstep. No need to worry about transportation because we’ve got you covered!
We offer group programs that are customised to your needs, with a ratio of 1:1 or 1:3 and a maximum group size of 18 people.
Our team of committed support workers regularly facilitates these programs, and we will make every effort to ensure that you get the support worker you prefer.
However, in some cases, we may need to make adjustments, and we will inform you of any changes as soon as possible. Our team of dedicated workers will be there to support you at every stage of the program.
