At Shine SC we are always on the hunt for like-minded individuals who wish to share their passions, experiences and knowledge by giving back, breaking down the barriers and building long-life friendships. We are searching for all ages, abilities and skills to come volunteer and make a difference in your life and others.

Shine Social and Communities was established in 2019 with a vision to ethically provide participants, families and carers with a holistic approach in supporting individuals’ health and wellbeing. We are an NDIS Registered Service Provider and our team is dedicated to empowering individuals to live their best lives now and into the future. We provide services to assist individuals with a disability to be actively involved in their local community, be valued, respected and engaged in meaningful opportunities and relationships.

Is there a certain type of volunteer you are looking for?
We encourage all walks of life to apply for volunteering opportunities with Shine SC. You just need to be 18 years and over and have the volunteer blue and yellow cards.
Do I need to commit to coming weekly?
There are various opportunities and roles for our volunteers. We only ask you to make a commitment that you can keep as you will be supporting vulnerable individuals that thrive from consistency and reliability.
I really want to volunteer but feel I don’t have the right skill set?
